To Vanessa

Hello everybody! This week has been CRAZY!  We have gone on so many adventures and met so many new people.  It has been really cool to see how God is in the details of everybody's lives and how much He cares about His children (us). To start off, this week, we met up with this one guy and he was...um...interesting.  While meeting up with him, we went on a walk and he gave us these bags that were tan and they have green stuff all overthem (for the environment) and he works for the environment.  Not only that but he gave us wooden pens and glass water bottles and he was like "it's not plastic!"  and he told us how he was Vegan and how he does intermitten fasting and then he proceeded to say that he sold his bike and that he goes everywhere "immer by füß" Which means "always by foot..." so he doesn't even take the trains because he cares so much about the environment and being healthy.   It was really funny.  I mean, I care about the environment b...

Shadenfroide

My dear niece, I wish to share my favorite word in German (well two). Schadenfreude and Farfigniggen. One means amusement at the misfortune of others and the other is sweet ride. I have come to realize Satan loves that first word and runs it in to new missionaries. He loves your struggle and tears of frustration. Today though I advise that you weep not for yourself but for those that seek the gospel and do not have it. Cry not for yourself but for mercy on those that seek the Savior. You know what you are; a daughter of a divine being (your Father) that loves you and sister in Zion. Help others see their worth so that they can like the prophets and apostles, rejoice in their trials and look at Ole Scratch and say who are you that I should worship? I am a Child of God. Sister Bingham, you are a Child of God and He has sent you to Germany because of your faith and love. When you struggle, ask for more faith and strength. This is a great opportunity.  Love Uncle Nate
