your grandfather Lee

My dear niece,  God bless you for listening in to the Spirit.  Let me tell you of a man you know who saught the gospel of Jesus. It was during the Vietnam War that this man who was a soldier saught more so the Lord his god. He wanted to know the truth and knew not where to find it. During the course of his search he had friends teach him and he wholeheartedly embraced it. Was baptized in a horse trough and came home to his parents with a new conviction. He later married your grandmother and had children, one who was your dad. Yeah I am talking about your grandpa Lee.  Sister Bingham you come from a legacy of Binghams who seek to do the will of the Lord. We may have had our moments of weakness but I want to emphasize our strength. God loves us; all of us. Being a missionary is fantastic. Pray for us as we pray for you. Thank you for sharing your song and message. I told you singing was going to help.  We hope and have the best wishes and faith pouring in for you. Keep...

Chopsticks Waltz

My dear niece,  I am impressed to teach you a principle that has come to my mind. A few years ago the church released a commercial about a boy at a concert and he gets away from his parents and gets on stage. The curtain opens and the youth at a piano who starts playing the simple part of the Chopsticks Waltz. The parents are mortified. From behind come the musician who whispers "dont stop". The commercial end showing them completing the duet and bowing to the audience. Remember when I made a reference to your mission being a recital? I was wrong to say that the Master was watching. He is the accompaniment to you simple message. While you may at times feel that all they hear is your words, rest assured they hear the symphony of the accompanying Angel's testifying your message is true and when you finish, the angels rejoice.  Open your mouth and sing and speak. Before I let you go, let me illustrate my point with this story. Back when I was a missionary in California, I ha...

Grandpa Morris

Grandma, I know of the story. I love the story. Mom would glow as she would tell the story of her grandfather in Sweden and their whole family joining the church and embracing the gospel. Mom would show elation telling how Morris and his brother Frank (I later learned it was Francis or something) came to America and learned a trade, learned English, built a business, and with the money helped each of their other nine brothers and sisters, (and mon and dad) come to America. All of that came to pass because a couple of guys came to teach the Lords message. To this day there is over 500 descendants who live and love the gospel because of those two. Sister Bingham may be starting to grasp how much impact her message is to one, imagine hundreds. Anyways have a good week.  Kisses,  Nate

Gifts of the Spirit

You are very welcome. This week I will be able to teach my wonderful primary class in person but I still feel impressed to to a post about the gifts of the Spirit.  I remind you that there are dozens of gifts. One of mine is teaching children the gospel. Your aunt Shelly has the gift of sharing the gospel. Remember the gifts you receive are a light that you should use to light the way and show people the path to Christ.  We love you. When I finish the post, I will share it. Onkel Nate

Be a missionary always

http://amormonsrant.blogspot. com/2017/09/the-true-measure- of-man.html?m=1 I wanted to give you something for this week. My dear niece, I want to tell you that your mission is your life. A while ago two wonderful went home to Heavenly Father and I still miss them. Live your life as an example of a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I try to be that son that He would call His messenger of the gospel. I know the message is short. I want you to know we miss you and love you so much. Work hard and sing a hymn (I recommend hymn 270).  Gott sei mit dir, bis wir uns wiedersehen.  liebe Onkel Nate
