God sees and hears

My dear cousin,  God will push you to your limit. He will ask you to row the boat out until the fourth hour exhausted and bond dry of strength so that you can see the miracle of strength, His strength. (Matt 14:25) Cousin, the Savior hears us and sees us. Hagar who ran out of water for her son when pushed to her limit learned this and even gave the Lord the name of El Roi (the God who sees me) (Gen 16:13) and named her boy the good who hears (Ishmael). You will be pushed to the limit for miracles that you would not trade a talent of gold for. Be faithful and look for Him in all things. We pray for you always. Cousin Nathan

A return letter to my brother Elder Graham

My dear brother in Christ, Elder Graham,  I wish to tell you before you come home how much your service has blessed my home. I have watched the faith of William, your father, Jacob, Gabriel, Gideon, and Hyrum, your brothers grow immensely and count them, my brethren. They have been a blessing to my home and family. I know you were called to a far-off land but you were chosen to serve in the USA. I hope you have seen how your (our) Shepherd was always with you and never departed but carried you through your hard times as He did for your beloved parents, brothers and sisters. He never let up for a second but watched them constantly. Serve my dear brother with your heart. Pray and repent constantly so that those that see you will want to know our Master as you have come to know Him. I look to the day to see your face. Brother Nathan Bingham

My miracles

My dear cousin, Sister Conley,  You want my life-changing miracles. Mine was several. When I worked for Nielsen, several times I had near misses with cars, getting stuck in the snow, being stuck in ditches and trenches. Let me tell you God was there every day. He watched out for me. What was odd was my faith was lacking, my testimony weak and I was at a point where I wanted those moments. As you know our dear Father doesn't give faith or testimony but gives us experience so that we can see His hand in all things.  A good example was I was stuck in the snow. Rocking and salt didn't fix it. Then I prayed. I talked to God for what seemed like a half-hour. I made promises, I wanted a solution. When I got home I worked on being active, I renewed my temple recommend. I am not sure if I have been a profitable servant but I have strived to do my best in my callings, I have learned to study more. I have repented more often to broaden my spiritual mind.  It's been years, jobs have ...

Tenacious

My sweet cousin, Sister Conley,  I know God is with you and hears and answers all of your prayers; perhaps not at the speed or way you expect but in a perfect way that both strengthens and deities all you pray for. I am continually grateful that you allow me to be part of your mission through prayer and letter. I am grateful to Heavenly Father for your success. Wisconsin is blessed for your service and beautiful spirit. Please know we pray for you daily and for those seeking the Savior and His gospel. Let me give you a poem quoted by an apostle... If you want a thing bad enough to go out and fight for it, to work day and night for it, to give up your time, your peace, and sleep for it. If all that you dream and scheme is about it, and life seems useless and worthless without it. If you gladly sweat for it and fret for it and plan for it and lose all your terror of the opposition for it. If you simply go after that thing that you want with all your capacity, strength and sagacity, f...
