Love it! Sister Conley, When I was in Bakersfield, CA, I encountered a fellow who had lost all hope, his spouse, children, job, car, and was going to lose his house. To say the least, he felt forgotten. It was a Tuesday and he opened the yellow pages (it was the hot summer of 1994) and picked a random spot and dialed to get a job to save his home. The pages landed on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Normally the church isn't open but a clerk in that building in the very room, where that phone would ring, answered. They talked for a brief moment then the clerk called us. We had been teaching in the heat and had come in for refreshment when our phone rang. My companion answered.
