Seekers seek

Thank you so much for sharing!  Sister Conley,  My sweetheart, you might know used Conference to convert several good friends of hers while in college. This after sharing the Book of Mormon and constantly "bothering" the missionaries about the doctrine of Christ and where it was referenced. One missionary was annoyed and the other was elated at studying so hard and really trying to listen to the Spirit. I export and encourage you to listen to the Spirit often (if say daily but I am certain you already do that). The simplest change of course will direct you to seekers eager to hear more about the God they thirst and hunger for (Psalm 63:1-5, Matthew 5:6). Help the seekers find what they are looking for (Isaiah 49:10).  Have a great week and thank you for writing. Cousin Nathan

Doubt not fear not

My dear Sister Conley,  How blessed you and your companions are to have beautiful administrating angels to assist you in spreading the message of Christ. I marvel at how you have had the Spirit of God guide people to you.  I recalled when I was a young missionary teaching my first lesson, the Spirit was the guide. I was so excited teaching and it went off the rails (so my companion says) and by the end of the night (two hours at their home) we were talking of Israel and the various tribes. I told them I was from the tribe of Ephraim. Maybe it was not necessary but they disagreed with me. They saw so much in that first meeting. Our Father is guiding us through his Holy Ghost and beloved son, Jesus. Just a reminder to you and your companions, remember the song I need thee every hour? Well when you are praying for more faith or to see the seekers you remember the the sweet sister and her walker. She showed you the miracle you needed to see to build your faith. She showed how the ...

Three missionaries

Sister Conley,  Please let your new companion know that she is in the wrong place. Remind that the first missionaries (D&C 57-58) failed to teach the Indians but their experience converted thousands. It is not where you find Israel but when. You each are called to serve and are chosen to be where you are with your talents and abilities to gather Israel in the temple to be with Heavenly Father. Covenants are a blessing and helping the lost children of Israel get those covenants is your blessing. When we see or hear of those blessings we rejoice with them no matter where we are. We morn with those that suffer and pray for them. This is a time to bring comfort to the comfortless and help the children of your mission find happiness through the gospel. Jesus and the message of the Book of Mormon heal the broken heart teach and share your testimony. Again, we love and pray for you.  Cousin Nathan

A reply

You are welcome. When you sent the letter of an Apostle visiting I though I was a fool for sending the message. Your father and I know your struggles as we were once in the white field too. We pray for you. Work hard and listen for the Spirit's whispering. Smile. Sing the Lords praises. The righteous will hear the song and will be drawn. Stay warm but not just physically, let the Spirit of Christ warm you always.  Cousin Nathan On Mon, Mar 7, 2022, 6:25 AM Emma Conley <emma.conley@missionary.org> wrote: Thank you so much. You have everything you need to do the will of the Lord

Emma,  I do not know why the Lord is asking this of me but He is asking me to write you today. Sister Conley, the Lord of heaven and earth harkens to your prayers daily and answers in His time and His place. You are as much a precious daughter to Him as to your Father Jared and mother Stacy. Doubt not, fear not. God is with you every day. He hears you and sees you. Your trials are specific to you and will try your faith but know this is like growing a garden, you will see the fruits of your labors.  Cousin, we pray daily for you and your success. We love you. We know you have witnessed pain and suffering but dwell on the sweet love Heavenly Father has shown to the saints and the sinners. Repent, forgive and endure to the end. Exaltation comes a step at a time. It's a journey not a destination. Like Jacobs ladder, it's one rung at a time. We may slip at times but know this, Jesus steady the ladder at the bottom and calls us at the to from His Father's throne. He is with you ...
