Simple Service

My dear cousin,

Praise be to God and His servants who bless and edify each other and lift their voices to both hear and share His word as pearls of wisdom.

Taking the time to bless the missionaries is a real privilege. Pay special attention to the wisdom of the Patriarch. He is giving beautiful wisdom. My wife, in her single years, invited you suitors to do baptisms for the dead for the first date. Not every young man was ready. It was a clear testament to who was ready and who was not. You are serving the King of Israel. When you choose a spouse seek a like-minded person and you will both be on the right path.

But enough of that. I am so excited that you saw the similitude in simple things. Keep looking for those symbols in your mission and keep a record of them. These small and simple events will be pearls that you can collect but more than that you will be able to share them and keep them close to your heart. It will be a treasure in this life and the next.

Continue to be kind and know that we plead to our Father for your success. We pray for the humble, who seek Him, to find and meet you too. As a teacher of nine-year-olds, I have watched as future missionaries blossom. I try so hard to nurture these delicate hearts to love the Lord through scripture. I still get now deacons and teachers who show appreciation for my little service. My point is, that you will not be forgotten for the plain and simple service you do daily for others. It means a lot.

Again we love you so much. Your work is precious to Him and a blessing to all of us. Thank you for your service and for taking the time to share it with me and other members of our family.

Cousin Nathan.
