Seek and ye shall find

Love it!

Sister Conley,

When I was in Bakersfield, CA, I encountered a fellow who had lost all hope, his spouse, children, job, car, and was going to lose his house. To say the least, he felt forgotten. It was a Tuesday and he opened the yellow pages (it was the hot summer of 1994) and picked a random spot and dialed to get a job to save his home. The pages landed on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Normally the church isn't open but a clerk in that building in the very room, where that phone would ring, answered. They talked for a brief moment then the clerk called us. We had been teaching in the heat and had come in for refreshment when our phone rang. My companion answered. There was a couple of Uh-huh and he turned to me who had just made a sandwich. Elder, the Lord needs us. His voice was bold with a smile. I looked at my sandwich. "Now?" I pleaded. "Yup!" Was the astounding reply.
We jumped on our bikes because I knew God didn't need sitters but minute men. Two weeks later that beautiful soul was a saint. We had saved his home and he was employed. The lessons we taught were amazing. You should have seen his face when we said he would see his dear little ones and the sweet spouse he lost.

Sister, those that search diligently and earnestly are rewarded. Teach with full purpose of heart. The seekers will see it and want the message. Listen for the prompting a of the Spirit and you will continue to see blessings.

Be safe and bold. We pray for your success.

Cousin Nate
